Morphology
naturalized = naturalize (transparent) = natural + ize + ed
The form is a regular past-participle/adjectival use of 'naturalize' (make or establish as natural), so the relation to the base verb is directly clear.
Etymology
Naturalized comes from nature ('the natural world') and the ending -ize which means 'to make'. So naturalized plants are placed or left to look like they belong in the wild and grow as if they were natural.
