While 'camera' is transparent, the adjective 'reflex' at B1 is understood as an automatic bodily reaction, not as a technical term for a mirror/reflection system in photography. Because the camera sense of 'reflex' (i.e. a mirror-based viewfinder system) is specialized and not derivable from the common meaning of 'reflex', a learner who only knows the constituent words would not reliably infer the intended meaning.
Etymology
Reflex camera is named for a mirror inside that 'reflects' the image up to the viewfinder, and the bold part reflex points to that 'reflection'. So a reflex camera lets the photographer 'see' and 'focus' exactly what the lens will capture.
