urogenital = genital (semi-transparent) = uro + genital + uro

The relation to 'genital' is clear, but 'uro-' is a medical combining form corresponding to 'urine/urinary' that may be unfamiliar to non-medical learners.

Etymology

Urogenital comes from uro- meaning 'urine' and genit- meaning 'birth' or 'to produce', the same root as generate. So, urogenital describes things that affect both the urinary and reproductive parts.
