Etymology
The word unbaptized combines the prefix un- meaning 'not' with baptize, which comes from an old Greek word meaning 'to dip' or 'to wash'. So unbaptized means 'not dipped' in the Christian baptism ceremony, in other words someone who has not had that ritual.
