The word is built straightforwardly from techno- and -phile, but the first element is a bound combining form rather than a normal standalone word, so the structure is only partly transparent.
Etymology
Technophile combines techno- ('skill' or 'art') and -phile ('lover'), and you can think of techno- as the common word 'tech' for tools and devices. So a technophile is someone who 'loves' new technology and gadgets.
