Etymology
The word talentless combines talent and -less. Long ago talent meant a 'large sum of money', and after a Bible story where people were given 'talents' as gifts, the word came to mean a 'natural gift' or ability. With -less meaning 'without', talentless therefore means 'without a gift' or having no special skill.
