Morphology

endoscopic = endoscope (transparent) = endoscope + ic

The adjective is a regular adjectival formation from 'endoscope' with the productive suffix '-ic' meaning 'relating to'.

Etymology

Endoscopic comes from Greek parts endo- meaning 'inside' and -scopic meaning 'to look', the same root you see in microscope and telescope. So endoscopic means 'looking inside', which is why doctors use an endoscope to see inside the body.
