Etymology
Nauclea is a scientific name from Greek, and a helpful way to remember it is to link nau- to 'ship', as in nautical, and imagine the tree's fruit or seed pods as little boats. That's why Nauclea names a group of tropical trees and shrubs whose fruit can look boat-like.
