Morphology
unswaddled = swaddled (transparent) = un + swaddle + ed
The immediate base 'swaddled' is clearly formed from 'swaddle' + -ed; adding 'un-' simply negates that state.
Etymology
Unswaddled is formed from un- meaning 'not' and swaddle meaning 'to wrap a baby tightly in cloth'. So an unswaddled baby is not wrapped and can move or stretch freely.
