So obviously, with two of my good friends being fired on the spot, not so much because of me but just because I hadn't let the new owner push me around and stood up for my friends, I had to put on a nice dinner for them and show them that I appreciated their friendship. I was especially sorry in Anh's case that just knowing me had gotten him fired. I had to give them a nice night at my house drinking Korean and Japanese wines and eating kimchi, sukiyaki, and many other things they had not tried before.
