Etymology
Perfecter comes from perfect, which is made of old Latin parts per- meaning 'completely' and facere meaning 'to make'. The ending -er means 'one who', like in 'baker' or 'teacher', so a perfecter is someone who 'makes something complete' or brings it to its best state.
