Panga is also used for a small, flat-bottomed fishing boat and for a farmed fish called Pangasius; fishermen call their boats 'pangas' and sellers often shorten Pangasius to 'panga'. So, panga can mean the little fishing boat fishermen use or the fish you might find on a menu.
