The meaning is compositionally clear from 'neuro' plus 'inflammation', but the term is a specialized scientific label rather than everyday vocabulary.
Etymology
Neuroinflammation combines neuro- ('nerve') and inflammation ('swelling' or the body's reaction to injury). So, neuroinflammation means swelling or the body's defence in nerve tissue, such as the brain or spinal cord, which is why it often appears in disease or after injury.
