Morphology

The adjective is directly derived from the verb 'click' with the productive suffix '-able' meaning 'able to be clicked'.

Etymology

Clickable comes from the sound word click, the small 'click' you make with a mouse or button, and the ending -able, meaning 'can be'. So something clickable is 'able to be clicked' and you can select or activate it by clicking.
