Etymology
Moslem is an older English form of Muslim, from the Arabic word Muslim meaning 'one who submits' to God and connected to Islam, which means 'surrender' and is also linked with 'peace'. So Moslem describes something 'of or about Islam', though this spelling is now old-fashioned and most people use Muslim.
